For those mummies and daddies who have split up with your child’s other parent. How often does your ex see the children?
My ex has my son to stay maybe once a month. He picks him up after tea on a Friday and he is back by Saturday lunchtime, so the majority of that is spent sleeping.
For the rest of the month he sees him 10-2 on a Saturday.
I’ve always known this isn’t a lot but just went along with it. But I am thinking of suggesting of having him slightly longer sometimes. Only because it leaves little to no time for me and OH to get anything done. (For example, going Christmas shopping this time of year!). Plus, I believe DS would like to see him for slightly longer. However, I have asked on very odd occasions to have him for longer and he’s never been keen, so shall I just leave it as it is?
