Birthday on a nursery day..

Hii everyone 👋
My son will be 4 on Thursday but he is at nursery 8-2. I will be taking a cake to nursery for him and his friends on the day but not sure when to give him his presents. I think if he gets up early and has them on the morning he will just want to play with them all day and getting dressed for nursery will be very hard work! For this reason I’m swaying more to giving him them after nursery but feel bad making him wait all day!
What have you done/would you do?

Give him one present before and save the rest. Or ask him . If you prepared to get up an hour earlier than usual ....

But better get the habit started of waiting til after. Nursery or school.

How many presents are there? I've always given our presents to the children at the breakfast table, but it's never been more than 3 or 4 things to open and takes about 5 minutes. Any more than that and I'd save it for afterwards.
