Sertraline

Hi,

Does anyone know if a 6 week old baby could be effected from sertraline withdrawal symptoms through stopping breastfeeding?

Sorry I’m not really sure about this, wanted to bump this thread back to too in case someone else does.

I wouldn’t think so it doctor is happily prescribing sertraline and knows you are BF then I’d imagine that baby won’t have any affects from you gradually reducing this medication with a view to stopping.

Assuming you are feeling better if you are stopping your mediation which is fantastic! Hope stopping goes well and no adverse effects on little one
