How are you getting on with this TMA?

I have been sweating over it for days now. Finally getting something down but feel like I am rambling on and on..... I am doing option 2 by the way.

Hey I'm also doing option 2, loving this one as I can relate to it, this is exactly why I signed up with the OU - to improve myself and change my way on thinking.

My ex has nothing to do with my ds, we split when I found out I was preggers!, and i've always been worried about the effect that will have on ds. But this block has made me realise its not all about biology, its changed my way of thinking and it really feels like a weights being lifted off my shoulders!

I love U212!! My actual degree will be in psychology but I was able to pick one 'option' to make up my points and so pleased I picked U212.

Still have a lot of the TMA to write but so far so good!

Oh and I always ramble, then spend ages at the end cutting and pasting.

Yes I am really loving this course too! It has helped me understand so much about my particular situation in relation to cultural differences, discourses and how people have all these ideas about family children etc.

I am British living in greece my children were born and brought up here and there have been so many instances along the way in the differences in childcare, upbringing, attitudes, expectations etc. This course really has helped clarify an awful lot for me.(including different cultural expectations on what marriage entails!)

Like you I write reams and then cut and paste.

Are you near the end of your degree now?

This is my 3rd year but I keep changing what my final degree will be!

No such luck, this is only my first year and i'm doing U212 alongside my level 1 course DD100.

I love that you don't actually have to commit to a specific degree with the OU, you can really pick and choose the course that your interested in.

As you live abroad, what happens with your exam in October? I'm really anxious about it, useless at exams!! I guess they have a number of different venues to choose from to make it easier for people to attend.

We do the exam same day as UK. Only one venue though -Athens so good for me but not good for those in other parts of Greece. I think I am the only one in Greece on this course but there will be other people doing other exams with me (no hope for cheating!!!)

On my last course I didn't do so well in the exam so it pulled my marks down. I expect the same this time as I am going well on TMAs but as each one takes me about a week to do it would be a long exam

No, seriously - the exam answers are in a different category knowledge wise to the TMAs.

Well my break is finished - back to my TMA - i really need to finish it today. Nice talking to you!
