Convincing my husband

HI all, I’m due our second baby in 3 weeks, and as a bit of an eco warrior I invested in a cheeky wipes kit and want to get reusable nappies eventually as well. Only thing is, hubby is throwing barriers up and protesting that it’s a pain in the arse at every opportunity. Hormonal and massive, I’m considering growing something at him :) just wondering if anyone had any issues with convincing their other halves that actually,
They’re a great idea, save money, save the planet etc without resorting to violence. Of course, I’m joking and wouldn’t beat him up over bum wiping tools and know he just wants an easy life. Any advice on how to get him on board would be much appreciated.

Get cheapish nappies and use the cost savings to justify it.
Gross generalisation coming here...... most men are more easily swayed by money than environmental concerns.

I mean the long-term cost savings vs disposables.

Could you see if there's a nappy lending library in your area so you can try before you buy? Your DH might change his mind once he's realised they're less faff than he thinks. And agree with PP about focusing on the financial savings.

Sadly I think you’re right in this case... with my other half at least! I did just work out a few numbers and it’s crazy savings, even on cheaper brands.

You can get a professional laundering service so that you don't have to worry about any faffing.
