How much do you spend on Christmas presents for LO?

How many presents do you normally buy for your LO? Feel like we may have gone a little over the top but can't help myself! Most of it is things she needs though...just curious as to what everyone else spends/ how many presents, also do you do stocking or sack?

I would say probably no more than £100 (mine is about to turn 5). We usually get one bigger present which is around £50-60 and then usually one or two books, clothes, and stocking fillers (stickers, chocolates, art supplies, etc.), which adds up to roughly about £100. I grew up in the very ostentatious 80s and we had huge Christmases (only child) overflowing with presents and to be honest, it was a bit over the top. I never appreciated it really, not for what my parent's must have spent (we were comfortable, but not rich at all), so we keep it small and manageable. Frankly, there's no room for all that stuff anyway.

I see, well that makes sense, we've bought our little girl a Trike and quite a few little bits, feels like we've spent a fortune but I guess that's just things costing more money, we've probably spent over £200 Blush
