Potty training

At a bit of a loss how! Dd is 2 years 4 months and for the last five days or so has had quite a lot of success pooing and weeing in her potty first thing, lunch time and after her dinner. When we stay in she is left with no nappy on and she is not bad st letting me know she needs a wee and finding her potty. When we go out and about which is quite a lot she is back in her nappy, is she going to learn from me doing it in this slow way or should I be staying in and doing it in an intensive way?

she'll learn, but it might take longer. DS started at 2 years and 6 months. started off great, had a 2 month spell of accidents every day, then this last month or so seems to just have clicked. still pee accidents here and there but on the whole he seems to have gotten it.

and we went cold turkey and straight into pants/nothing when in the house.

if you absolutely can't go out without some nappy on, then use pulls up?

I think she'll get it eventually but it could be confusing to be in a nappy some of the time and not others. I've just done DD potty training and she's 3yrs 2 months. I tried a few months ago and gave up after 24hrs! Much easier this time as she has much better understanding of what's required. So maybe wait if you can't go out without nappy/pull ups?

Who decided it was time to start? You or her?
