Party tmw - conjunctivitis

Hey all

It's my daughters 1st birthday party tmw, we have hired a hall with soft play and about 17 babies coming. My SIL just rang saying our niece (18 months) has conjunctivitis. Does anyone know how contagious it is? She's wondering if she is allowed to bring her to party still, I'd be gutted if our niece isn't there but obviously I can't risk infecting the other kids if it's really contagious?! Please let me know ur experiences with this not sure whether she should come or not :(

Sorry it's too late but to answer your question, yes conjunctivitis is very, very contagious so your ne ice should give the party a miss

Totally agree. It’s very, very contagious.

Tell SIL not to bring her. It's not fair as DN will be infectious.
