Hi there

Our son is due to turn 5 next month. He has just started school in the neighbourhood. Originally, we were all for the idea of inviting the entire class to get to know the new kids/parents but our son isn't keen on this and has asked to invite three or four of his closest friends. He's also keen on having the party in our home. He's getting on well at school but is a little shy so dont want to invite too many people....

We have a ok sized house and garden but we're stuck on how to entertain the kids (seeing as there are likely to be so few of them) for party. Does anyone have any ideas? Any tips gratefully received!!

Thanks!!

But some balloons and they'll entertain themselves

Add music

Do icecream with 'add your own toppings'

What does your son like?
Could it be a pirate party with a treasure hunt - good idea without the pirate bit?
Traditional games like pin the tail on the donkey, musical bumps - lots of turns and everyone can win
Depending on how quiet the guests are they could decorate fairy cakes or make pizzas to have for tea?
