Car seats for Ford Kuga?

Having a bit of a nightmare. We’ve got a 2017 Ford Kuga and I cannot find information on compatible car seats? I’m due in March and everything is quite different to when my first was born 10 years ago. I like the Graco Milestone but have heard a carrier is safer for a newborn? If so we’d like a Maxi Cosi as it’s compatible with the pram we want

I have a 2016 kuga and we have the maxi cosi family fix base which we used with a pebble and now the pearl seat. Fit fine. Also for my dd who is 6 we have an isofix mothercare high Back booster which also fits fine. I suggest going to mothercare or somewhere and get them to fit one in your car so you can see

We used to have a 2009 kuga. Don't know if the new one is similar but it had underfloor storage compartments in the rear foot well that you're not supposed to sit the leg of some maxi Cosi bases on (could break in an accident). The newer model might be different. Other than that the bases fitted fine with the isofix points.
