Water cup for 12 month old?

My lo has been using the tommy tippee first cup for her water since she was 6 months but I was wondering what I should move her onto now? I see others holding cups without handles. Can anyone recommend a good bone to move on to please?

Tomme tipee do one without handles. We just use a mixture of the first cup and a normal open plastic beaker. You can get special small open beakers which look like plastic shot glasses.

Stick with those if she doesn’t tip them up. Both of mine would tip them to watch the watch pour out which is when I started using straw cups but honestly those little TT first cups are the best. Don’t leak, small

My 5yo still uses the tommee tippee first cups sometimes no need to move on as such.
They also have Ikea ones without handles and then just normal open top beakers for when they’re at the table.

We use the munchkin 360 cups for ours from 6 months onwards, they are really good and dont leak.

I second the 360 type cups, DD wouldn't drink from a spout or bottle, although they do leak of your little one likes to lob them across the room!

EchoesOfLeon · 18/11/2017 07:49

Munchkin 360 here too! Don’t leak in a bag but if DD throws it then some will leak out

JoWithABow · 18/11/2017 07:50

How about one of the Sistema ones, in the smallest size? That's what my. 1 year old likes.

Dalesgirl16 · 18/11/2017 08:05

Are these the bottles your babies drink their milk from too? We are stopping the bottle too

Oh just water.

Dd 13 months has the munchkin 360 with handles for water and milk. They’re new to me as my older 2 are a lot older and I think they’re brilliant.

Dalesgirl16 · 19/11/2017 22:19

Thank you. Not looking forward to trying her with milk in a cup

Straight from bottle to a normal glass as the nursery preferred them as part of their family eating.

The munchkin one doesn’t leak easily so milk is fine in it.
