Hi all. Bit random, but I was wondering where people put their babies/young children for safety or if anyone has any tips!!
I’ll clarify, am a single parent, with a now active crawling pulling to standing curious 10 month old so when I have something I need to do where he can’t come with me, eg quick shower or take the bins out etc, I strap him safely into his highchair for 5/10 mins and he will either play with his table top toys, or quite happily watch Peppa Pig

Anyone else?? 😊

We bought a really big playpen with slatted sides and we love it. It was expensive but worth every penny. We put foam mats on the floor inside it so it's all baby safe.

DS doesn't spend a lot of time in there but it's invaluable for those times when I just need to run to the loo or even when I'm gagging for a cup of tea. Sometimes he doesn't want to go in, and on those occasions I don't make him unless I have to, but generally he likes it a lot because it's full of toys.

It's a great place to chuck all the toys when I'm tidying too - contains the mess a bit

Ahhhh my boy is 3 months and I'm well aware how easy it is to just pop him on his play mat or in his bounce seat while I go the loo / make a cuppa / do the bins etc and know he won't be going anywhere!

I've got all this to come!
