My 2 week old girl seems constipated and uncomfortable. Is it ok to give her boiled cool water in between feeds to help?

What makes you think she is constipated? It's quite normal for very young babies to appear to strain a bit when pooping. They are just getting used to the sensation.

Is she breastfed or bottlefed?

I definitely wouldn’t unless on Doctors orders, and even then I’d be hesitant. As PP said, babies frequently seem uncomfortable as they’re getting used to the feelings of their digestive system and can struggle to pass wind/stool as it’s still new to them! When was her last bowel movement?

Nope, don’t, unless medically advised. She needs all her tummy space for milk!
