help...my rainbow bots have gone crunchy..

i don't use fabric softener and line dry everything, so in fact all my cloth nappies are a bit crunchy now. i live in a very hard water area. any tips on how to soften them up?

I think I've seen white vinegar suggested on here as a softener.

Yeas add a couple of tablespoons of white vinegar to the final rinse or pop the in the tumble for a couple on mins to fluff them up. "Crunchy" nappies can be due to soap bild up also, so check there are no suds in the machine when it's doing it's final rinse, if there are, run the nappies through another wash without any powder.

thanks ladies - have heard about vinegar before but not sure when i should add it..do i put it in the fabric conditioner bit when i start the wash or do i have to wait by the machine till it gets to the rinse bit and add vinegar then?
