First time mum question - when is it ok to start using tampons rather than pass after a natural birth? Had a few stitches but nothing major. Thanks in advance 😊

You can use tampons on your second proper period. So all your lochia needs to be with towels and then your first period too.

@katyn gosh I had no idea about this! Not had one yet as still breastfeeding a bit at 6 months PP. I'm a bit scared about the first period. I've heard some horror stories about the rate of flow!!
