Hi. I have just brought 12 terries and some nippas and also have about 8 shaped nappies and lots of wraps. I washed the terries today and put one on, can't remember what fold I used but that fold didn't allow much room for growth, is there other folds to use as they get older, (DD is 7 months).
Also I found the nappy was quite big around the legs and stuck out of the wraps, what I did was tuck it under into the nappy. What sort of wraps should I use, I have 1 onelife wrap which I have always liked but she leaked out of this today and some small and medium modern baby and some cotton bottom. I was wondering about a fleece wrap, would this be better? Thanks for your help but have to make this work now I have a good supply!

the nappy lady has instructions for folding nappies online.... think it is www.thenappylady.co.uk which is quite useful. i always used a one life wrap with ds (velcro ones i found were better) we never had any leaks wee or poo. Have you tried putting a booster in.... you can buy them but i just use either a muslin cut in half hemmed and folded up or i bought 10 flannels from tesco for £2 and they work fine as well. As for the baggy leg thing just try different folds or as you said tuck it all back inside.... takes a while to get used to but is so much cheaper than buying disposables!!!! Good luck.

I recommmend a Motherease Rikki wrap (velcro) - works on all types of nappy, even a pad-folded terry if you lose all your nippas. Have a look on the Nappylady's classified ads for one while you're there.
Re folds, try twisting the side bits inside-wards as you bring them to the front iyswim. It means they are tucked in more more neatly and securely.

I use the motherease airflow wraps with my terries as they are big and baggy so that yu dont have the problem with the nappy poking out the edges. I use the Jo fold from on the nappy lady website, but I did buy toddler terries (78cm) for my ds1 when he was 13months as he is a big boy.

Like everyone says, just roll the nappy under towards lo's legs and make sure the wrap is on the outside not tucked unde with the terry.

I alwayes used the motherease wraps great for terries as they have lots of room. The Gaynor's fold is what I found best for dd.
Did try most of the different folds but that one was the best.

i started with the origami or chinese fold and then used the kite fold so you can pull it tight around their legs.

use plastic pants and nature baby wraps.
