hmmmmmmmmmm, thinks ..............

ds2 (dc3) is very laid back (he's a Gemini ) but generally does what he wants
ds1 is strong willed as is dd

hell, they're ALL strong willed

are you youngest though as well as 3rd? makes a difference i think. my sis is pretty sw though.

My brother (no 3) broke his arm at about 18 months. The hosp consultant doing his cast turned to my mum and said "don't suppose he's a third child is he?"

my younger sister is number 3. She is the most strong willed of all of us girls. She was TERRIFYING when we were kids, and is now only copeable with cos we don't live together....

I wonder if it is a youngest thing rather than the third child - my 4th (and youngest) is sooo strong willed.

My DS3 is horribly strong willed but maybe it's because he's 6, I'm hoping he'll grow out of it. My brother who was the 3rd in our family wasn't at all strong willed, still very passive aged nearly 40!

Mine is...at 18 mths he is more determined and stubborn than the older two put together. But on the flip side, he has more of a sense of humour than they did at that age....

oh yes! not only is dd fearfully stubborn, thanks to ds1 and ds2, i'm convinced she thinks she's boy...no wonder she's strong-willed. must be a lot to cope with, eh?.being a 6-year-old boy trapped in a 2-year-old girl's body..

mine isn't - but is a twin - so don't know if that counts. hes very much a 'runt' if it were a litter and we were animals - he would probably be dead.

I am the 3rd & youngest and I am REALLY strong willed and stubborn

am v.wary about a 3rd as DD is exactly like me already .DS only 5 weeks so no idea what he'll be like, but I quail at the thought of a 3rd being another me/DD - would be anarchy

My brother is 3rd born and he is quite strong willed too.

my first two are extremely skilled at awkward stuborn etc, I am a 3rd child and very reasonable... sometimes

dh is 7th of 9 children, his stubborness is olympic gold medal standard, and as for the youngest in his family, well I think he is probably the most stubborn person I have ever met...

maybe I should be prepared to be shocked if our number 3 dc ever gets created?
