There is a court order in place. My children are 5 and 7. But ex does not stick to the court order he is constantly changing plans, cancelling due to sickness or events that he has to go to or he is too busy. He doesn't have them when he should and when he does have them my 7 year old is upset and distraught he doesn't want to sleep over, he hates going because he says he is bored. His dad makes zero effort to comfort him when he is there. He used to be ok when he visited but since his dad has been cancelling etc over the past 4 or 5 months. The times he does have them my 7 year old is distraught and crying and sobbing and wanting to come home. Would you say this is normal? Because my ex seems to think that it's a medical issue and he needs to go to the doctors and he is saying it is not normal that he wants to be with me. Where as I think it is more about consistency and him not seeing the children regularly and when he should.Am I right?
