Stair gates

Does anyone have any experience of pressure gates vs the ones you screw in? Most of them seem to be pressure ones but I'm a bit concerned about them slipping - the wall is plasterboard if that makes a difference?

The pressure ones are really strong and I can’t get them to move. I have checked with lots of force. You should still use the screw in one at the top of stairs just in case they do move.

I don't find the pressure ones move but they do often have a bar at the bottom which can be a trip hazard especially at the top of the stairs.
