3m pp feeling so lonely!!!

Hi everyone.

I am 3m pp and i am feeling overwhelmingly lonely!
My hubby works shifts and all of my friends/family live miles away. When he is on day shifts i am ok as i can get out with my son and keep myself busy, but when he is on nights i feel like i am going crazy! I feel sick, cant eat, pace around and feel so unbelievably low.
Am i on my own or does anyone else feel the same?
I know there are mum and baby groups etc which are helpful during the day but at night i just cant escape this shit feeling!
I just dont know what to do Sad
Any tips are massively appreciated lol

Xx

Hi. I'm so sorry you feel like this. Do you have any family near you who could visit sometimes.

I don't think you'll get much response as you've posted on Woolly Hugs which is more for crochet. You could report your post and as MMHQ to move to a more appropriate topic.

Congratulations on your DS. Such magical months ahead of you with him.

Hi OP,

We'll move this to a different section, where you'll hopefully get some more replies.

Wishing you all the best as what sounds like a very tough time indeed.

I think there's a chat thread under sleep or somewhere on here, with lots of mums posting when they're up in the night. Worth seeking out if you don't have rl friends you can message at night.

Is it while you’re feeding at night that you feel bad? Do you have any Mum friends who you can WhatsApp at night? You sound isolated - have you made any local friends at the Mum and baby classes? Could a family member come to stay with you for a while to support you? It’s a tough time isn’t it, be kind to yourself.
