Hey, I need new food recipes for my 1 year old as I keep giving him the same thing everyday.

Morning he has milk
7.30ish baby cereal
11am 2 and half hours nap
2ish cheese spread on bread with baby snacks and a drink
5pm baby jar food but I want to start him on what I eat.
7pm bedtime

What do you eat? Can you just not have the same dish? Past 12m there's very little you need to alter for them. The only thing I do is cook without salt, remove the DC's portions then salt the rest before serving. I also only cook to a mild/medium heat if it's a spicy dish and those who want it add hot sauce at the table. I like to cook from scratch, but I'm all for ease so it's always been the case the baby eats a bit of what we're having Smile

It's a long time since mine were little, but at one they were eating what everyone else was.
I mean, you might want to do something different if you were having a rare steak or a non-filleted fish or something especially hot and spicey, but normal day to day meals....

You don't need jars of food or special baby snacks Smile

Why not post what you have eaten over the last week and some newer Mums than me can tell you if there is anything there the latest advice says you shouldn't feed them.
