Moving town

So me and my partner have just had a beautiful baby girl she is currently 11 weeks old so wouldnt do anything yet. He moved town to be with us and support us but he feels the town he originally came from would be better for all of us. i do agree, however in that town i don’t know anyone, except his friends and i have a big family here that helps us whenever we need it. Money would be better for us there as his friends can offer better job opportunities for both of us and we could probably finally save for a mortgage. Just not sure i can be 2 hours away from my family and risk feeling lonely or risk things going downhill?

I guess the main question is, do you want to go? If so, then you can make it work. When we had DD1 we lived 140 miles from any family, although had friends nearby. It was tough without family support but we developed our own support network.
If you don’t really want to go then it’s less likely to work out.
