I'm feeling so sad for my 7 year old boy. He's so sweet and kind. I thought that he was getting on ok at school and the other kids all seem to like him. He doesn't get invited to play dates but he doesn't seem to mind and never asks about it. He's pretty happy in general. However, something has come up at school. He sits on a table with 6 other boys. One of them is having a birthday party and my boy is the only boy on the table not invited :( I don't know what to say to him about it or how to make him not feel isolated and left out. I'm thinking of asking his teacher to move him onto a different table to make it maybe easier for him. Does anyone have any advice on what I can say to him as to why this sort of thing happens?
