Can I put nappies/inserts into the dryer?

We are fairly new to cloth nappies (about 4 months). As we are coming up to the colder months, I'm wondering about the nappy laundry. I'm suddenly finding its taking days for nappies to dry. I use mostly pocket nappies but we are now switching to cloth for nighttime use as well so need to think about drying even more.

Can I put the nappies and inserts in the dryer? I was thinking of low heat just for enough time to dry them. I could throw in a dry towel so speed up drying time?
Or could I use the radiator now the heating will be on more? I was thinking of placing them on top of a towel so they are not exposed to the radiator directly?
