Sorry if I am posting here for traffic. Any French speaking parents wit any kind of medical knowledge about? could you please tell me what a pontage is in English? Is it a heart bypass?
My dad has just had this as an emergency surgery and Dr said he had to do seven 'pontages'. I have never heard of anything like this before - quadruple bypass yes, but 7?? I am not sure - anyone can help please? TIA.
