Dd birthday dilemma

It's dd 7th birthday in just over 2 weeks. It falls on a Sat so I am taking her to Build a bear because she's never been. I can't afford a party for all her classmates so I've said she can bring a friend. Well the person I thought she'd ask didn't come up, she wants to ask another girl. Fine but now I'm all worried that she's going to ask this girl and then change her mind and want the other girl who's she's usually best friends with. I'm also worried that the usual best friend is going to be hurt that she didn't get asked ??? Helllllppppp!!

Can you budget both? If not, could you chat through her thoughts about the girl she's chosen, how her usual friend might feel?

Take only dd to build a bear but have both friends over for a little tea party

Exactly what 2014 said!

2014's idea is a good one if you couldn't afford both

A little tea party sounds lovely. Do you have a B&M bargains or a home bargains near you where you could buy some cheap cake mixes and have them make cupcakes or something like that? I'm sure they'll love it

Crisis averted.......she ended up asking the original best friend........bloody kids are so fickle!!
