Mother of Children Kicking Off :(

Good Afternoon,

I really am hoping someone can help with any information as we are our wits end now!!

My partner and the children's mum share custody 50/50 after a messy separation - she left him for someone else.

Anyway...

Every time she picks up the kids or drops them off there is an issue. Whether it's shouting and swearing in front of the kids. Name calling him for sorting uniforms etc for school. Kicking off because they've had a hair cut. You name it - there's been an incident over it.

OH always keeps his cool - ignores her - gets the kids in the car etc but it's really grinding him down. The kids are seeing this almost every time they exchange and we're really worried what effect it's having long term.

Has anyone had any experience of this?? What can we do!!??

TIA Confused

The best thing for the father is for him to keep his cool. The children will see that the mother is the one causing problems. I believe that there are parenting services of mediation that may help although the mother would want to aswell. It sounds to me that the mother may not be truly happy with her life and jealous of your partners if she is continually slating him and causing problems. Xx

Thanks for replying :)
I think I just needed someone to tell us we're doing the right thing!

It's just so frustrating when it's happening 3/4 times a week, every week :(

xx
