What does your 2 year old sleep in and on?

So the problem I have is that DS has started waking up at 4 am. He's nearly two and these early morning wakings are not helping his mood overall which seems to involve a lot of melt downs at the moment...

He sleeps in pyjamas, in his cot. At the start of the night / when we go to bed he'll have a blanket on (fleece/ duvet thing from a mothercare set) but he moves about a lot in the night so I'm sure it doesn't stay on for long.

He is really tall for his age so have been worried about sleeping bags given how much he's used to walking about in his cot. He hasn't tried to climb out yet- but if he did I think we'd be in trouble...

My almost 3 year old is still in a sleeping bag. He can walk freely in it, he can even get down the stairs 🙄

He sometimes has a duvet over it too. He wears pyjamas.

He sleeps in a bed (but only from 29 months). He never climbed out of the cot, showed no interest at all.

My 2 1/2 year old sleeps in cot (never tried to climb out) so not even bothering moving her.

She has light pjs on but no socks and 1 tog grobag.

Summer was hell as she won't settle unless in bag, she seems to like the restriction so I bought a thin cotton bag and put her in in just her nappy and that worked

Pjs and a grobag. We didn't give my eldest a duvet until he was over 3. You can get those sleeping bags with legs of you are worried about him falling over.

My nearly 3 year old is in a babygrow (I guess a onesie I should call them now!) and a sleeping bag. He walks fine in them.

sleeping bag and long sleeved tee at the moment. Our room is pretty cold but she doesn't seem to feel it. I'm going to get her winter sleeping bag out this weekend as I hate to think she's cold!

She wakes up at 5am and I bring her into bed with me until 6.30am

Have you tried putting the heating on so he doesn't get quite so cold.

Or checking that it isn't something like the heating waking him up.

Mine were both in a bed with a duvet at that age. We set up a comfy bed in their room and went in and lay with them until a more sensible hour.

What about the Gro Company's Gro To Bed? It's a zip on duvet set, so it can't be kicked off during the night
