Fragrant breastfed bottom

Why does ds2's poo usually smell custardy but sometimes yogurty? He's fully breastfed, apart from one bottle at bedtime.

Not that it's something I dwell on, he just happens to be sitting on my lap and...emanating.

may be related to what you have been eating/ drinking. If its regular pattern it might be the fromula/ breast milk difference.

my ds's poos used to smell sweety custardy when in a particular brand of nappy (pampers infact) i used to quite like the smell - now we use real nappies of which i can now report that his poo smells of POO!! Loving nature!

Sadly I rather like the smell of ds2's poo - I'd describe it as milky.
Much better than ds1's!
