What age gap do you have between your children? Do you think closer is better? Or a few years is close enough? I'd really love my baby to have a sibling close in age to grow up with but I'm worried he'll feel confused and left out if there's another baby always there ??

I've got three years then six years. I like a bigger gap tbh. Siblings can be close without being on top of each other iyswim. Gives your body more time to recover too. I have lots of friends who've had two under two and it's bloody hard work.

Ideally I'd have liked 2 years tops but ended up with a 3 year gap and it's fine.
There's a ten year gap between myself and my brother and we have always been very close.

I think it depends more on personalities and upbringing rather than age gaps.

Following with interest as I'm PG and there'll be 17-18 months gap

We have a 2 year age gap between our 2, now 2.5 and 7 months. Honestly I've found it tough, but I am admittedly highly strung!! But I really don't know if I'd change anything. Our thinking was get the early years done with, and to have them close in the so that interests/activities might be similar. But I don't know if that outweighs for example having a bigger gap with 1 at school and having that time with only 1 child to contend with. There's 4 years between me and my sister and we are close.
