Since last week my 15yrold son has been complaining of having a bellyache and he seems gassy is it possible that he can have colic?

Wouldn't it more likely just be indigestion at that age.

If it's higher on the belly, it'll probably be indigestion. If it's lower on the belly, it'll probably trapped wind. Both can be treated with over-the-counter meds from a chemist.

Our 8yo suffers badly from trapped wind. Because I cannot get him to take tablets (he's autistic) I use a scaled-up dose of Dentinox colic drops, which was recommended by a pharmacist Smile

Not true loop
As a teenager I had a very bad episode of colic which had all the doctors thinking I had a secret pregnancy! It was awful, lasted about three days.

How to Cope With Abdominal Colic in Adults. Abdominal colic is a term used to describe severe spasmodic pain in the abdomen caused by distention, obstruction or inflammation. In adults, the spasmodic pain may appear suddenly or develop gradually and become chronic.
