Anyone ever used a baby dam?

I'm looking at ordering a baby dam for our bath as it seems silly to keep filling up a bath tub just to give my 18 week old daughter a bath and wasting so much water. I've read mixed reviews but just wanted some opinions on here if anyone has used one.

The reviews I've read are pretty poor. Are you able to use the kitchen sink or is it too small now?

We use one, it works just fine although if you remove it after the bath with the plug still in you will find it doesn't really save as much water as you would think.

Do you or anyone in the house have a bath? I fill the bath for DD then leave the water and just top up with abit more hot so I can reuse the water

She's too big for the sink now. My dsd has a bath with DD when she's here at weekends so that's fine but just during the week, I don't like the thought of wasting water. But if you say it doesn't actually save that much then I guess I'll save the money.
