AIBU to get royally annoyed that another mum told me to man up?
I'm a FTM and I've struggled form the get go with my DS. He's 2 years old now and still breastfed, doesn't sleep great and bites, scratches and pinches both me and other children and seems to cry constantly. I find this really wearing as I'm at home with him all day and rarely get a break. My other half has little involvement when it comes to parenting and often spends his weekends out with his mates on the piss and never had DS on his own.
He spoke to a friend's wife, who has 4 children, about how hard I find things and her response was: 'she just needs to do her job. She's only got one'
I hit the roof! How dare she!! I'd NEVER comment on another mums parenting so callously, especially if they're having a rough time. AIBU to be hurt by her response?
