Oooh fluffles really do feel better!

First time I've felt the better version of fluffles - they are soooo much better.

Anyone who hated the snagging - it really has gone!

Good aren't they . I haven't got one but my local supplier did show me one when they came out and I couldn't believe the difference.

Flame, is it wrong btw, that I am thoroughly excited that I have just managed to lay my hands on two Bum Genius that have been out of stock and unavailable just about everywhere for ages [excited emoticon] . I don't strictly need them but they would be handy for holidays etc....

I touched my first one last night at a nappy expo, it was a great crowdpuller - I just shoved into people's hand and said 'have a squish on this!'
I didn't realise it was a new version, that makes my surprise more understandable as I guess I'd seen pictures of the old ones.

I had a completely baffled woman on the phone earlier wanting to know why I had told her she should buy a newborn swaddlebees organic velour when she is planning to use terries for the first stage... I felt a bit trying to explain that there wasn't any point exactly, it was just sooo pretty.

I like other people being insane and excitable too

Buckets - its loooovely isn't it?!?! I guess I have to buy one for my demo kit don't I - the one I have is an old style and clearly lying to people...

What are they like when they're full of wee though, are they still cute? Do they turn yellow?

No, they're still lovely and fluffy stains come out really well. The fleece inner is great, but i'm not sure aboyt them come summer as not a natural material.

I was playing with one the other day and they are cute - really soft, and very fluffy, so no problems with nasty snagginess at all.
I thought they were very bulky. I'm not sure how many layers of microfibre they are, looks like 40.
I always thought the point of microfibre was more absorbency for less bulk? Oh well, at least they dry fast.
There was a lady on another forum who mentioned they retain a urine smell even when washed at 60 degrees, so perhaps a nappy san type thing might be necessary to get rid of that?
I do find that my microfibre towels retain a smell when washed in with cloth wipes at 60, whereas the cotton wipes don't - not sure what that's about.
Not sounding that keen am I.
Still, they are fast drying.

Doing a cold rinse first stops the urine smell.

Theya re very bulky, but they sort of squish down inside a wrap.

The difference in the feel is lovely - like a fluffy dressing gown

Have you seen any of the other microfibre type nappies - Micro diddy or microdizzy or the lovable? I used to have a cotton weenotions, which was quite a hefty nappy, don't know whether the microfibre version was the same??
I'm wondering if those others are more 'snaggy' feeling than the new fluffle.

Blimey Vicki, are you still pg? Go order a dinky newborn one now, it will make you go into labour and won't arrive until after the baby does. Like having a cigarette at a bus stop.

LOL!! Yes - due next sunday - having lots of niggles and very annoying practise runs (not actually been in yet though!)

I am slowly compiling a list of nappies I still NEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD:

  1. swaddlebees organic velour - small - but may go for one size
  2. fluffles - but do have a lollipop softee
  3. peeweez

also need to get some microfibre cloths in for my stuffables buthaven;t got round to it yet!

It does seem bigger in fluff terms that the others but not in actual size iyswim! Whereas most of the others would put on newborn - may wait til til about 12lbs before putting it on.

Ohh though my contractions had stopped - but they are def back!

Not tried any other microfibres yet (mainly becasue I was so put off by the original fluffle).

You need a newborn swaddlebees - believe me it is the most gorgeous nappy in all the world
