Annoying Mother Instagram!

Ok, so someone I know mutually on instagram is so annoying.
She posts pictures of her scans and says how much it looks her?! Then plans her baby's first birthday like 4 months in advance, and wants her guests to bring gifts to put in a box for him to open when he is 18. She also, brags and says how her kids are the 'most beautiful'.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand this behaviour? Am I missing something?

She is missing the whole fact that you can never predict that a child will a) make it into the world or b) make it to the age of 18.
