Christmas Presents for 6 month old

I know, I know - she'll be happy with just the wrapping paper, and when DD1 had her first Christmas we didn't go all out

BUT

DD1 is 3 and very aware of Christmas for the first time. She'll want to see DD2 open her presents too. DD2 has all of DD1s old toys, clothes, books etc so really don't know what to get her.

Would probably just be looking for about 4 parcels for her.

I know it's only September but trying to be organised so I can enjoy the run up without being stressed and broke!

We are getting our DD (who will be 7 months at Christmas):

A Ragtales doll
A xylophone
Some books
A few clothes

DD is 6 months old today, and currently she likes rattles, crinkly books, and a jingly ball thing with a bell inside.

In your shoes I'd probably be inclined to opt for things she'll grow into, like those activity cube things, or a spinning top (the ones where you push the top down to make it spin). You could also wrap things like clothes or some baby biscuits or something.

Oh the activity cube is a good idea! Thanks! Will get her some clothes for next season too

You could also get things like weaning spoons and bibs. Or a little chair of her own, like one of the mini Ikea poang ones, for her to grow into.

DD will also be 6 months old at Christmas and I plan to get her this www.argos.co.uk/product/2599722

Don't think we'll get her much else to be honest because I expect grand parents and aunts and uncles will be enthusiastically generous!

We have put away some of our eldest daughter's baby toys to wrap up for my son for Christmas. He'll also get swimming costume, towel, socks, bag for nursery etc.

We got my 7/8mo last year bits that she could use as she got older. I too had the situation where toddler would have questioned why baby didn't have a lot.

Things we bought:
Activity table
Walker
Soft dolls
Bath toys
Books
Clothes

DS was mostly just pleased that his haul was better.
