Active 6 month old - babynest, jumperoo, or something else?

DD is 6 months old and loves kicking about on her activity gym. However, she doesn't seem to like the baby seats that rock and I wonder if she would like to be seated more upright so she can see things (she is very nosy inquisitive).

Would one of those inflatable baby nests be a waste of time at this age? She's rolling but showing no signs of crawling. Just starting to sit forward but needs some support.

Jumperoo was the best thing we bought for super active DS2. He loved being upright seeing what was going on and bounced like mad for ages in it.

What about concerns about jumperoos affecting babies hips/legs? Or are they ok if used for short periods at a time?

Like everything else they are fine in moderation.

DD must see ALL THE THINGS so she needs to be upright. Grin And she kicks hell out of the gym now so the toys jangle, so bouncing might be just what she needs.

Thank you.

Door bouncer or second hand jumper. Don't buy new I doubt you'll get the use out of it.

Jumperoo I meant! :)

Jumperoo. We got one second hand for dd and sold it for the same price. One of the best things we got. Especially as she was a nightmare reflux baby

Yes agree jumperoo but buy second hand then sell on! Ours was a godsend from 4-9 months tho 😁. He launched himself out of baby nest at about 7 or 8 months without being able to crawl so wasn't my favourite thing!

Ds loves his jumperoo only problem is he never stops trying to bounce now even when he's out of it and being held! On the plus side though it does wonders for tiring him out once he got to big for baby gym.
