Hi, never posted on here before....

2 years ago i moved to a city away from home due to may reasons and i met my dp and months later we fell pregnant and decided to keep my LO ( best decision i made) . long story short we broke up months ago, i dont have any family and i dont have any friends and im so sleep deprived as my 6 month old is starting to wake every hour to an hour and a half and it is driving me mad. i see the same 4 walls everyday im so sleep deprived i wake up with the shakes and nausea every morning. i spent my 20th birthday crying inside my flat the whole day. it the anniversary of my fathers death ontop of everything and i just want to curl up and die.

Oh op Sad

Firstly can you get an appointment with your doctor, explain how you're feeling.

Does your ex help at all with baby?

Do you have anyway of moving back to your support network?

I'm so sorry you're feeling like this, please keep posting here. X

thanks for replying could legit cry my eyes out x
i told my GP about how i was feeling and he called social services because he was worried about LO being with me when i feel so low after the social service assessment they decided im a fit mother and theres no need for their help. (other than the fact that they referred me to a perinatal nurse ive met her twice and it has been helping but not that much)

my ex 'helps' in the sense that he buys stuff for LO but says he cant help much during the night because 'hes a working man' i told him how tired i was but he just tells me to stop complaining because there is nothing anyone can do to help me (breastfeeding)

i dont have anyone thats blood to me other than my baby boy .

i get anxious to go to baby groups as i feel like people would just judge me for being a young parent (sounds crazy but cant help having those thoughts

xx

Hi user, hugs to you! I am single mother and got a newborn so can relate to you how difficult it is sometimes to care for baby, especially because you don't get much appreciation in the normal sense! But just remind keep in mind this newborn phase is not for long and soon your Dc Will grow up and you will have some free time! I tr to take one day at a time and get to see a bright side like I can see a first smile that no one else will see for my baby))
