Humidifer for morning cough

Hi
Looking for advise as my son has a dry and chesty cough every morning about 6am. I read about how it could be allergy related and to put a humidifer in the room. Any reccommendations for a reasonable priced humidifer? Thanks

Every morning for how long? Nighttime cough can be associated with asthma.

Hi its in the morning. We tend to get a spell of about 2 weeks then it might stop for a week.or so before starting again. I dont think he has any other symptoms related to asthma and he isnt wheezing.

My DD had this, it was due to a cows milk allergy.

She also had a rash on/off
Runny tummy
Horrible runny nose (green) Envy
Vomiting

Sorry, if not helpful but it stopped as soon as we stopped the milk.

We have a humidifier as whenever my dd gets a sniffle shes gets an awful nighttime cough. It does work. I think we paid less than 20 pounds from amazon. Id love to tell you which one but i cant remember and cant seem to find it on amazon now. It did work for us though Smile
