Hi

I would like to buy my ds an inexpensive scooter for his 2nd birthday. However there seems to be a lot of choice out there. Can anyone recommend one that is suitable for a 2 year old?

Thanks

Invest in a micro mini. They are amazing. There is quite a good second hand market for them too so you might get a cheaper one that way.
Mine had his until he was 4.5 when he was ready for 2 wheels.

These are a little more expensive than I intended on spending. What is it about it that makes it better than the cheaper ones on the market?

The little tikes one is very good, my ds age 2 scoots round quite happily on it and its not expensive.

We got a mini micro delux for our 2 yr old. Cost about €100 but he'll get 2-3 yrs out of it. He loves it!

We had mookie mini street cruisers at that age ( more than one cos they kept getting stolen) they were fine, manoeuvred well, light etc. A lot cheaper than micro scooters.
