Bed wetting or is it?

Hello,

DD is 3yrs 10 months - we thought we had cracked it and she was completely dry.

She's been sleeping through with no accidents for about four months, also waling for a wee, but this week we've had bed wetting three nights out of four. A complete bolt out of the blue.

She does term time at nursery - completely dry during the day for about 9 months now- but she returned to nursery on Monday; could it be connected?

The only other thing to add is that she is always asking for a drink (this week I've made her last drink of water at 6.30 ish).

I did mention to her nursery teacher this morning who also said she seems to be going for a wee a lot as well.

Cause for concern and a GP visit or a natural parenting two steps forward, three steps back?

Thanks all :)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

This is very, very common when a growth spurt is about to happen/is happening. Don't worry and just take it in stride. It will soon sort itself. Just get a waterproof pad to help deal with the accidents, and don't make her feel as though she's doing anything "wrong." It's just a phase.

I think it's important to add that if you are thinking there's a chance your child has diabetes or other health issue you need to get it checked by a doc not rely on opinions on an anonymous forum!

Thanks both.

A growth spurt makes perfect sense. I always seem to be caught out by these!

I'm not sure about diabetes but husband is worrying.

Thank you :)
