Totbots: Red wrap vs polkadot wrap - difference in thickness?

Has anyone got one of each? Some websites say that the red ones are much thicker and more waterproof. I have a red one which we are using at night, and would love a polkadot one as they look so lovely, but am wondering if it would do the job well enough.

Experience anyone?

The red ones are better (imo) - the red have 2 layers of fleece (I think) all over, whereas the others have one layer with an extra strip down the middle.

I liked my red one but sold on my rainbow one.

I have a red one and a rainbow (same construction as polka). the red wrap seems to be a different fleece entirely - v thick and prone to bobbling - great for over night though.

The rainbow/polka one is much slimmer and less likely to bobble - would be great for hot summer days and is ok at night, but I prefer the red one for overnight - rainbow for showing off .

Use them all on my 2 yo DD who is a heavy wetter and no probs at night, the red wrap is a two layer fleece so thicker compared to the other two but I have not found any difference in performance.

red bit thicker.i have both but my favorite night wrap is disana wool.

Red is much thicker that patterned and I think better. Stacinator is good but bulky although has the advantage of poppers so if you have a toddler who can undo velcro you can at least use the stacinator without any pj bottoms and not worry about them undoing it all!

Red is the thickest, then polka dot, then rainbow stripe . I do now prefer wacky wraps though, they have a fleece outer and some kind of breathable pul inner and as well as being gorgeously cute, they don't wick at all.
