2 week old sleeping through the night

My DD is 17 days old and last night she slept from midnight until 6am. While I am eternally grateful for her thoughtfulness at giving us a night off as it were, after about 3 hours I was getting up every 30-45 mins to check she was still breathing/alive etc. Am I being para, or should I rejoice that she slept so long and next time just go with it?

Enjoy it. My dd slept from 6pm to her dream feed then through until 7am from 5 weeks adjusted age. She was 6 weeks premature and tiny but she grew like crazy and is now a massive 114cm at age 4.

Mine both did this as newborns. I didn't wake the big, healthy one and he was fine. I did wake the tiny prem one and she's fine too. Both of them became bad sleepers after the 4 month sleep regression.

Yep same I was told to wake my DS up every 3-4 hours and I think it's once you pass 8 weeks and they've gained their birth weight back that you don't need to wake them.
DS is currently coming up to 5 months.

Don't let all the talk of sleep regressions panic you. Mine never had any. Slept through from very early on and over 2 years later has stayed that way!
