To send DS to school or not? Is it just a cold?

He's 6. He's coughing and snotting everywhere but doesn't have a fever and feels well otherwise. Would you send him to school? I can't judge it because he's my PFB Grin

If he definitely feels well and has been like this for a couple of days then can send.
A lot of children wouldn't attend school if they missed it every time they had a cold.
If he has a temperature or seems lethargic don't send.
Perhaps let teacher know to keep an eye on him too.

Thanks what's. That's kind of what I thought but I'm such a soft touch when it comes to a poorly DS I can't be objective.

I would, but then I only really let mine stay off for sickness/diarrhoea.
I'm of the 'see how you go' school of thought.

For a cold / cough I would send him, if he's generally alright in himself

He's just returned and was absolutely fine. Thank you for making me see sense your advice!

Glad he's ok and had a good day.
