Baby classes before or after vaccinations?

My LO is 7 weeks old and apt for jabs not till 9 weeks but baby sensory class starts this week. Is it ok to take baby mixing with other babies before jabs?

Yep, fine!

That said, baby sensory is so much better for older babies (6 months plus) so I'd make the most of free/cheaper classes for now, like the library singing groups, and save baby sensory for when the baby will be more interested? It's brilliant at 6months plus though so definitely do it then!

We started baby sensory before 6 months and DS has been getting lots out of it. But I do think 7 weeks is a bit young, might be sensory overload. I wonder if something like baby massage would be more suitable at that age.

But yes fine to start before jabs if that's what you want to do.

It should be fine - newborns are exposed to all sorts from the moment they are born. For a newborn they normally just sleep through the class so they won't be interacting much.

Go and see how you feel - if you feel a bit apprehensive you can always duck out Smile

We started out first class at 6 weeks old Smile

Should be fine in terms of jabs but I'd be surprised if LO gets much out of it. We did our first sensory class at 10 weeks and she was a bit overwhelmed.
