Best nappy brand help!

Hi, my lo is 6 months & ive mainly used Aldi nappies since her birth. I am however finding they do leak quite a bit. At first I was assuming it was me not putting them on correctly however now I'm wondering if it's simply the nappy that's not suitable for my lo. Can anyone suggest what they find a great nappy brand that have minimum leakages?

The asda do some good ones. Seem to be working for my LO

Most are good. I always use pampers baby dry and always go back if I change.
Sainsbury's are awful, the only nappies that have irritated DDs skin at all. Morrisons is like wrapping plastic around your baby's bum. Asda are similar to me and I found they smelt quite chemically? Huggies are the worst! Leak and go lumpy overnight. Honestly other than Sainsbury's they're the worst. Pampers are the only ones I like tbh!

I second pampers SmileI do find that my DD outgrows a size long before the end of the weight limit but it becomes obvious as the back gapes and they leak more often. But apart from that I've not had a problem at all!

We had no problems with Tesco's for DD, but DS leaked with them. Sainsbury's were the only ones that suited him until he filled out a bit. Asda good too

I wouldn't say there is a best nappy brand. I'd say there's a best nappy brand for your child at a particular point.

If there are leaks have you considered going up a size in the brand you nromally use? The size guides on the packets of nappies are a load of nonsense IMHO.

It really is personal preference but I've used Pampers Premium since day one (now 22mo) and have had one leak. One. And no nappy related rash either. They're always on offer in Tesco or similar.

I find the Tesco ones are great! Reasonable price aswell. Also the Asda ones have always been good, although when my little boy was newborn I found these leaked (saying that I'd often wake up to him wet through in the early days, so maybe more my fault than the nappies!)

Pampers baby dry

uhoh2016 · 07/09/2017 04:11

Boots own brand. Almost always on offer 3 packs £7

SilverAndCold · 07/09/2017 05:31

We swapped from Aldi because of constant leakages to Tesco nappies. Tesco ones are great.

Mol1628 · 07/09/2017 06:05

Lidl ones were fine for us. Never leaked even overnight. Asda little angels were my second choice

Desmondo2016 · 07/09/2017 06:33

Boots own brand or the the slightly more expensive Tesco ones. The cheap Tesco ones gave lo nappy rash. Never had any leaking probs eith Aldi but we do with pampers. It's a real personal thing so have a play around and see - but for the cost I would definitely highly recommend boots.

chockwockydoda · 07/09/2017 06:59

Aldi were great to start but were useless after newborn. Pampers gave mine nappy rash along with ASDA and Lidl. Sainsbury's are great for nighttime as they hold a lot of wee and keep dry. Tesco are a brilliant fit as have the most stretch. Haven't tried Morrisons.

greendale17 · 07/09/2017 07:12

Pampers.

Aldi- leaked

Lisamic86 · 07/09/2017 15:56

Great, thank you everyone! I've started on Tesco nappies & I have to say so far they've been perfect and no leaks at all!
