First mumsnet post - hi! We are flying next week for the first time with our almost 9 month old and I want to get him a new toy to hopefully keep him distracted but am stuck for ideas. I've got him a few smaller things already (just little wooden toys). Not showing him them until the flight so no way to know if they will be a hit or a miss. Baby loves to throw things at the moment, so I was thinking of something a little too big to throw (to save us running up and down the plane every 2 seconds to retrieve stuff), but also not a really noisy toy as I don't want to drive the other passengers totally crazy. Baby generally gets bored of toys very easily but likes balls to throw and chase and also loves dumping stuff out of boxes etc - neither of which are idea for air travel!
Any ideas or toys you baby loves / loved around this age gratefully received!
