How does childcare grant get paid?

Hi all. I applied for childcare grant almost a month ago and just wondering how do they pay it? Do they pay it with your maintenance loan and other grants or do they do it separately? Just wondering because if they delayed the payment there's no way I would be able to pay the nursery while I wait for the grant to pay me :( x

If you've been awarded it it should come with your loan, but you're best off phoning hen to get solid answers :) worst case scenario speak to your uni, they can probably sub you the money until your grant comes in.
