Rash

Hi everyone

Dd is nearly 1 month she has this rash on her neck and upper chest and also a little bit behind her ears, she had something similar on her face which the midwife said was just a newborn rash that has started to fade slightly now

I haven't changed washing powder and I use fairy non bio, and always make sure she's fully dry after a bath, I don't use anything in the bath except burts bees shampoo on her hair, and only thing on her skin is burts bees oil as she has dry skin (but I never put it on that area) I have bathed this morning with cotton wool and water and dried off

Everywhere else is fine I have checked back and legs etc

Any tips to help this clear up?

Could it be eczema?

My dd gets rashes like this and we use junior oilatum bath additive and aqueous cream. I'd rather use natural products on her but it's those products that help calm her rashes. It was our GP who said that it looked like baby eczema.

Yeah otherwise she is ok... thanks for the advise! I'm going to take her to baby clinic tomorrow and see what they advise there

I have really sensitive skin so it's probably likely that she is the same x

Hi all

I was at the health visitors yesterday for dd's weighing so I mentioned the rash, she had a little look at suggested I went to the doctor.

I went straight to gp and he said straight away it's a milk rash but to me it looks worse today than the original posting, she had a milk rash on her face at 2 weeks which was starting to fade but it's now all her neck and slightly chest... not sure what I do to help it? I have re washed all her clothes and blankets etc and put them through an extra rinse cycle

Any other tips? I have been leaving her vest and grow open slightly to try and get some air to it hoping that might help?
