hi, i was given a tomy classic baby carrier and am trying to figure out how to use it. my LO is 6 weeks old. Im confused about the head, i know she should be tight in to me, but when her head is facing me straight on the rest of her is not tight to me. Are they meant to be used with the LOs head to one side so the entire body can be held tightly? Any photos ive seen the head seems to be facing straight on.

They aren't ideal carriers. Get to a local sling library. A consultant there should be able to help you or advise you on an alternative carrier. I had one in the beginning with DS but would never recommend one to anyone now. Much better options available.

I'm with odog - things have moved on a lot with slings. Google your local sling library and have a look at what they've got.
